— An extensive open-plan extension to this grand 1930s home was given a rear garden that blurred the line between inside and out, with a stunning pool and entertainment area.
Working closely with Catt Architects, this outdoor space and new extension were conceived as one. The decking was therefore an extension of the home, which in turn linked with the pool, surrounded by frameless glass and featuring a dark tile providing reflective qualities.
The formal design elements included a boundary of evergreen Figs with Star Jasmine to provide perfume. Extensive outdoor lighting transformed this space into a delightful garden for evenings and a serene backdrop to the home’s living area.
