Plummer Street
With two apartment towers, a hotel tower, a series of retail and restaurant spaces, and extensive residential amenity, the Third Street development, P.M. is certainly visionary. Jack Merlo was asked to bring his expertise to this project to create a range of outdoor spaces to once again work in concert with the Moroccan-inspired architecture by Elenberg Fraser.

With a project of this scale, the brief was to provide an abundance of choice. On the rooftops alone, residents can choose between private areas with built-in lounge seating, or more communal spaces with wrap-around pools, day beds and a Casablanca styled bar. Pergolas, barbecues, games and dining areas also feature on these sky-high settings, with views to the city and the nearby bay. Meanwhile, enclosed within the three buildings, the studio created an elevated lawn space, games corner and a sunken lounge, and dining area.
